Life is all about trade offs .....once you choose to choose your first preference, you won't be able to regret not choosing the 2nd one ....you won't be able to go back and choose again.....you will have to take complete responsibility for your choice each and every minute of your life....
This will actually be your biggest problem.....not in normal situations where saying NO to your second preference is your easiest task.....but actually in rather harder situations when you can't figure out a first preference to choose....situations when choosing will never be for your benefit......when you can't even depend on others' opinion because you perceive things differently, your priorities are different. ...and you can't guarantee that depending on their opinion won't make you regret your choice after a while....
In these situations You'll just have to depend on yourself, ask yourself what matters the most to you ?? And then decide which preference to choose.....even if it felt like you lost a lot by letting go of your second preference. ...you'll always thank yourself for not letting go of your first one.....you'll always thank yourself for being brave enough to say NO to your second preference when it was hard enough to be said !!
